Zero Waste Table / Andrew Maynard Architects

Design from an idea. Design from a process.

Do we get enough of it these days? After a clear process derived from Louis Khan’s thoughts on the material logic of the brick, we have an ingenious product that not only looks awesome, more importantly creates zero waste, is entirely flexible and can be reused completely. The question I ask is, why don’t we see this kind of clear idea and process used more often in design? The shit we create needs to do more than just look good.
